Our team is what makes OMC and many of us have been working together for many years and there are many of us that were working for OMC before OMC existed!  However, while we pride ourselves on creating a strong and stable team, change comes as part of professional development.  We have recently welcomed many practitioners to our company and over the past three years our team has grown from 14 to 32 and we have recently evaluated our service and redeveloped  and clarified our expectations of our practitioners.  This has seen our practitioner team progress from strength to strength and the ongoing professional development programme is helping the team to grow as a team and also as a collection of individuals pursuing professional excellence.

Our current leadership team includes our Directors and the management and leaders that drive our provision forward and uphold our theoretical approach.   We have developed our approach together and we are committed to supporting our practitioner team to be the best that they can be to further the outcomes for our children.  As part of this all of our practitioners are on a formal qualifications pathway and we have four Early Years Teachers and ten practitioners who have achieved or who are working towards their degree in early years.  We are led by Diana Lawton who completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with Literature in 2000 and a Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Applications of Psychology in 2008 and received her Early Years Professional Status from the University of Derby in May 2010.  Diana completed her Masters in Integrated Provision for Children and Families with Early Years in June 2016 at the University of Leicester in conjunction with Pen Green Research Centre. This commitment to professional development is echoed throughout the team.
